Next Language

As many know, as recently as a month ago I was excited about learning Japanese.  I bought many resources and planned on taking an intro class this fall.  Then that was put on the side.  With my recent interest in Lojban, I'm wondering if I should try picking up Japanese again (after learning Lojban, of course) and take the class this fall.  I'm still interested in Japanese culture and technology.  I could even, in a few years, spend time in Japan teaching English.  That would be quite the adventure.

Then again, I might be getting ahead of myself (as I often do).  Will I even be able to learn Lojban?  I seem to be moving forward at a slow but steady pace.  Will I have it in me to lean Japanese?  I think so.  I'll wait and see if the class is even offered at a useful time next fall.

  1. I think that the choice is between English or Esperanto as the future global language rather than an untried project like Lojban which is not even a spoken language !
