I just applied to a local community college so I can relearn some math. With my focus on complex adaptive systems, I need to relearn calculus. I want to make sure that I really know it, so I want to start with either trig or pre-calc. My math skills have atrophied over the years, so I'm really thinking trig. On the plus side, my brain probably retains a bit of my old math-capable self, so I should do fairly well. I'll have more details once I can see the fall schedule and actually get accepted. I'm also trying to figure out what other skills I need to work on.
On a side note, I requested a printed Bulletin from the University of Indiana, Bloomington, so I have a hard copy I can annotate.
